HOLIDAY PARTY

Witness the 3rd Annual Jacobson Holiday party. We set out a lot of food - strangely, our best sellers were champagne and Toll House cookies...

Bess and the Bus in the calm before the storm.

Outdoor decorations including pyrotechnics. How nice...

These give only a partial sense of the craziness. 50 people, many of whom were under the age of 6. Lots of monkeys jumping on the bed. Bess passed out from too much jumping on the bed!

FUN IN DECEMBER

Sammy and Finbar attended a beautiful ball at the Dorchester. Fun times! We behaved in the silent auction. Or rather, we were out-bid. Ahem.

Bess at the garden center buying decorations for the house.

Going to a pirate birthday party. Aargh!

A gift from Aunt Maggie and family. Thanks!

Rides at the Winter Carnival in Hyde Park with friend Maddy. In the Barbie car, no less.

HAPPY HANUKKAH

THANKSGIVING

We're back and have kicked jet-lag's butt and are barreling towards year end. We had a ball with our friends and family in the US. Loads of grandparents, cousins, Uncles, Aunties....it was just a great New England holiday, with a quick dose of NYC thrown in (a rather hot one as Bess came down with 102 for the first 30 hours!).

I know she doesn't look sick here...but she had a big fever. So rather than drag the two monsters across the street to her favorite breakfast joint, Sammy wisely chose room service with at least a view of Pastis (see red brick building in the background!).

Cousins

Friends

Sammy stupidly left her camera in NY so thankfully Auntie Steph had her fab photos to document our proper Thanksgiving!

A perfect Thanksgiving Day ramble...

KIDS

Another quote from our recent fav journalist....

"Kids are like farts: if they are yours, they're surprisingly lovely; they remind you of you. You must avoid other people's. If you can't, make sure there's plenty of space."
