BANK HOLIDAY MADRID!

Hola! We're back from a fantastic weekend a Casa Alejandro. Mates from London have a place in Madrid so we packed up and headed south in search of sun, paella, maybe some helado, and loads of fun.

It was an early start so Bess and the General headed to Heathrow in their jammies. Spectacular scenery to go with our cornflakes.

We arrived to sunshine. Pretty much the only sunshine we saw all weekend but we made the most of it in the garden.

And finally, killing time in the Madrid airport, heading home.

SUMMER AT LAST

Summer, at least for now, has FINALLY arrived. We made the most of it and headed out, picnic basket in tow, to the park with our mates.

At long last, here are photo's from the General's first birthday party. All in all, it was a great party. A little bit of rain brought the table in from the garden, but by the end, the sun came out and the party was in the Close.
