SUMMER

We are acting as though it really is summer. Even though Bess has a few more weeks of school, we are staying out late in the parks and eating lots of ice cream. Today we had a send off for a mate who is going on holiday a wee bit early. We met the most gorgeous new friend, Aspen the Bernese Mountain Dog. Gus and Sammy wanted to take her home. Bess and Finbar would surely not approve!

COUNTDOWN TO A BALLET PERFORMANCE

Today Bess and Sammy drove to leafy Richmond for the rehearsal for Bess's ballet school performance. It was so exciting! Bess will wear a tutu ordered specially from America by the ballet school but it's a big game day surprise as to what it looks like! The performance will take place on Father's Day so it should prove to be a fun day out and the excitement in this house is definitely mounting.

ADIOS TO THE L PLATE... FINBAR'S BACK AT THE WHEEL

After four years and many stories revolving around driving, our house is now home to two legal UK drivers. Bravo to Finbar for nailing the test on his first try with NO FAULTS. On a stick shift, no less. And in the Silver Bullet!

Of course we expected nothing less but I will say, no easy feat. Who cares what Jerry the Driving Guy costs... well worth it.
