The weather has turned to winter rather overnight. So we plod on in the cold, wet darkness. As always, I constantly strive to make dinner interesting, which is a challenge for so many reasons. I recently stumbled upon a blog I love from which I got a great recipe with great results.

As we munched along and chatted, a few very good questions shot at me from Bess. I will list them in order:

'How did G-d make the world?' (I'm sure I looked confused. How the heck do I answer this? So hence the next question...)

'Is Dad smarter than you?'

'Mom, you know that country that was under water? 'Do you mean Pakistan?' 'Yes. How are they doing?'
