BACK FROM DUBAI

We're back from an amazing and surreal week in Dubai. We stayed with good friends for a few and saw how the locals (well, expats!) do it. Then we moved into a hotel and soaked up the pools and more. A dazzling, modern (futuristic in fact), surreal city ringed by water. We watched the North African corrider explode and the pirate situation unfold from this tiny little Emirate in the midst of it all which was quite fascinating.
